About
Rebecca Hoffmann studied German Literature, History and Educational Sciences at the University of Cologne and Humboldt University, Berlin. For her thesis about Sigmund Freud's notebooks she received a DAAD research scholarship at the Library of Congress, Washington D.C.  She received further grants by the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Stiftung Genshagen and the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin.
 
Her articles on contemporary art and photography have appeared in art magazines and blogs. Furthermore, she writes exhibition texts for galleries. Together with Silke Briel, she curated the group show "A marked preference for" (2013).
